- My partner dubbed me a clay-writer, saying I sculpt with words and write in clay. Shaping pots influenced the way I shape sentences. A palette of vivid words creates an image for the reader, making a story accessible on multiple sensory levels. My book, Be Brave. Lose the Beige! Finding Your Sass After Sixty, was published in 2023 by She Writes Press and won the 2024 National Indie Excellence Award for aging. It was the Indie Spotlight on Publishers Weekly, May 2023 and named one of the top ten inspirational books on Aspire Magazine, May 2023.
