- R.M. Rayburn lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. They hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, but even while studying art they continued to take writing courses as electives. The first time they tried writing for fun was at the age of 10, making up stories about a heroine and her friends. After a life-long interest in reading, writing, and story telling, they decided to take the dive and start to write their first novel. Besides reading books, they also enjoy consuming other story-telling inspiration through watching movies, listening to music, and even playing video games. Their favorites genres are fantasy, history, science fiction, mystery, and horror. Other hobbies include nature walks, baking, and playing with their two cats.
