- Born and raised in Chicago, I was an urban urchin of the 1960's streets who survived its darkened alleys amid darker times. I passed my entrance exams for Loyola High School, but found myself in Plano, Texas. Eventually, after many miles spent on the road in the construction industry, I finally turned in my last motel room key and settled down with my wife outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and away from the big city. Summer in the City is my debut novel, but its debut got the virus AND the shingles. Title this Bio: OUT OF LUCK!
