- I was born and raised in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. I spent a lot of time at the lakefront fishing and swimming. Uptown was rough back then and I started writing early as a way to express what I was feeling. I loved writing stories based on the places I had read about in school. Today, I am working on a children's book series which will visit some of those same places. The Series is called 'The Adventures of Oli and book one is titled, 'One Lil Indian'. I wasn't successful in finding a publisher for this series so I opted to publish through Amazon. It's been selling well and I am glad I took the leap. My website is currently under development!
