When the holidays add another layer of busyness to our already busy lives it can be difficult to prioritize your writing.

Give yourself the gift of writing time each day. Not so much that you pile guilt on top of stress. Make it doable and easy, say...30 minutes every day.

No one will feel neglected or left out, no one will go hungry, the cat litter will still get scooped, the laundry will still get done.

Find a quiet place with no distractions, and just write; a page, a paragraph, a sentence. Or think about what you want to write - that counts. No rules, no pressure, just be quiet with your writing, every day, for your mental health; a small gift to yourself, time each day dedicated to your writing during this busy season.
