Second Wind Publishing will be releasing my first novel, What Goes Around, in 2015.
I am retired from the position of director of educational publications for Prevent Child Abuse America, a national nonprofit based in Chicago. Some of my nonfiction published works appeared in Pioneer Press, Chicago Tribune, magazines Prevention and Single Parent, and School Social Work Journal. I am a member of Chicago Writer’s Association, a Bronze Life Master member of the American Contract Bridge League, and sang professionally throughout Chicago and the six county areas. I founded and served as president of Arts Unlimited, a nonprofit organization that provided live performances from music to magic on site for institutionalized adults in Chicago and throughout the surrounding six counties. Awards include: City of Chicago, Heart of Gold United Way volunteer award, Citizen of the Month by Pulitzer Newspapers, and Honorable Mention in the Governor’s Home Town Program for Arts Unlimited.
