The Chicago Writers Association proudly unveils the 2012-13 Speakers Bureau, featuring a diverse collection of 46 programs — 27 of which are being offered for the first time — by some our most accomplished members. “Since its debut in 2009, the CWA Speakers Bureau has rapidly become one of the organization’s marquee offerings and matched dozens of programmers with talented CWA members,” said Speakers Bureau Director Danny Smith. “Event programmers, meanwhile, have increasingly told us that the Speakers Bureau menu serves a helpful resource as they plan their event calendar and seek presenters on a diverse range of topics.”

Comprised of 26 of CWA’s talented pool of writers, the CWA Speakers Bureau claims a variety of programs for audiences of all ages and interests. All members of the Speakers Bureau aim to be professional and engaging, flexible and accessible with an eye on exceeding expectations. Speaker programs cover a diverse set of topics from writing workshops and Chicago life to current events, career, travel, research, self-help and inspirational, and history.
