I Love the Lord and I Give Him Praise In All That I do!
I am originally from Wynne Arkansas and currently living in the lively Windy City of Chicago. I’m excited and honored to share my thoughts with the world in the form of a novel. I currently have three books to my credit. My debut novel was entitled, Where The Brothers At? My second book, Sorrows of the Heart, followed it. Both were suspenseful romance novels. My third book entitled, The Kitchen Beautician is a hilariously colorful look at life and the decisions that people make and how those decisions impact their lives. Woven between the lines of comedy is a romance story that will tug at your heartstrings.
I started writing short stories and poems in high school. However, becoming an author was never a long time dream for me. God gave me the title for my books and inspired me with the content to pour into to each of them. I am currently working on a fourth book that is entitled,
Saved Sanctified & Keeping My Secret, which I hope to release in late 2010.
My short story entitled “Looking in the Mirror” won third place in the Chicago Writers Association’s “First Things First Writing Contest.” I write for two online magazines www.inspiremagonline.com and www.moremagazine.com
I believe an author gives a gift to the world by providing an opportunity for the reader to experience adventure, intrigue, suspense, and romance through the power of words. Thus allowing the reader to be transported to another place in time, while riding on the wave of their imagination, as the words printed on the pages stand up and come to life.

I enjoy writing romance stories. It is something we can all relate to. Most people enjoy a happy ending. However, even when the ending is not so happy, the steps along the way of the storyline,can still be intriguing for the reader. |
