About: msmarcie

I am a freelance writer, blogger and author. My writing successes can be found in international, national and local print and online publications, including Forbes, Toastmasters Magazine, St. Louis Magazine and the Chicago Independent Bulletin newspaper. My two greatest accomplishment to date are 1) her interview with her shero, Dr. Maya Angelou, which was published in St. Louis Magazine and 2) being published in Forbes. In addition to magazine writing, I enjoy writing professional bios and newsletters. I have published over 1,000 articles on my four blogs, and have been published on world-renown blogging and writing sites. Also, I have published five books, including 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger's Block, How to Write a POWERFUL Professional Bio and The 7 Practices of HIGHLY UNDERPAID Freelance Writers. Currently, I’m researching Chicago’s roller skating history to write the first book ever on this favorite past time. Look for it! Lastly, I’m a Board Member of the Chicago Writers Association.
